I went to the doctor for a hearing test and he told me that my tinnitus is probably caused by stress or allergies and that he thinks it will probably go away just as randomly as it appeared.
Although usually going to the doctor twice and paying $300 to hear that nothing's been fixed might be sorta aggravating, I was happy to hear it. I'm glad I don't have nerve or hearing damage, and just having him say that it will probably go away was incredibly calming. Just having that hope will be enough to get me through it, I think.
