Joe and I never really celebrate V-day for several reasons: we tend to show a ton of affection and make special time for one another throughout the rest of the year, our dating anniversary is exactly a week before, we're usually broke, and this year we had work to do all day.
However, we took a few breaks for affection, to cook and eat a pretty good dinner, and a video game break. Lying on the couch playing a wii game together, he looks at me and remarks "This might be the best Valentines day ever." It made me smile.
