Today at work a student that I had tutored a while ago (and gotten along really well with) came in just to thank me for helping her get an A and to let me read her paper. It was so sweet!
I love making people want to write better. Sometimes I feel like a dentist; most students would rather never have to see me. When someone loves what I help them do, it makes it all worth it.
